come and stay; make our grass green today... Just a little song I made up for Callen last fall. We were putting her in Bo's car this morning to go to her school, and she starts singing it. It was raining, which is what prompted it. She was so cute!
However, I don't know what got into her yesterday afternoon. When I picked her up at school, they were outside playing. It was just she and 2 little boys and one of her teachers. She was fine coming in to get ready to go, but then she pitched a royal fit! She wanted something but couldn't articulate it well enough for me or her teacher to understand. I end up having to carry her out, as she is screaming constantly. She lays down on the sidewalk outside her school and continues to pitch a fit, doesn't want to get in the car, fought me as I tried to put her in the car, etc. I finally get her in the car and then she screams the whole way home! When we got home, she didn't want to get out of the car. You'd think a kid that has as many toys and things as she does would prefer to get out of the car so she could play with them. Finally, after maybe 10 minutes, she decides she'll get out of the car.
Hmm, maybe that's why I woke up with a horrible headache this morning... Here's hoping that there are many more cute and well-behaved moments than there are tantrums from my almost 2.5 year old (although a friend with a 3.5 year old says the 3s are worse than the 2s!).

Good gracious I hope your friend is wrong. Although, as far at 3 is going so far, I think they are correct.
