Pull Ups Be Gone!

While we were traveling in Utah a week or so ago (pix to be posted sometime soon), we thought we were out of Pull Ups late one night when we were heading to bed. It was SO cold outside too and we would have had to drive to a store to get some! We asked Callen if she wanted to wear underwear to bed and she said 'Yes'. So, we've been wearing underwear, rather than Pull Ups, to bed at night. She's done really well and not had any bed wetting accidents yet. Here's to hoping Pull Ups are gone forever!

Potty Training

I was at a moms' night out Sunday night. We were each talking about potty training issues we've been having. For some reason Callen doesn't want to poopy on the potty, but prefers a pull-up. She's very good about using the potty to urinate, but at home at least she resists using it for pooping. She does not have this issue at school. I was talking about this Sunday night.

Well, Monday night and last night she all of a sudden starts poopying in the potty! I have no idea why, what clicked, etc. but all of a sudden it is ok to do now. Let's hope I haven't jinxed it by blogging about it : ).

I wonder if Callen will look back one day and wonder why in the world her mother had to disclose on a blog her pooping status updates : ).

Callen pooped in the potty for the first time this evening. She normally likes to hide in a corner when she's poopying, but tonite she told us during dinner she had to go poopy. The first time was a false alarm but about 5 minutes later she said it again and off we went. Yes, indeed, she did have to go this time! I was so proud : ). I'm sure one day she'll look back at these postings and not be too happy about them, but for now I'm a proud mommy! Three days dry in her big girl underwear at school and pooping in the potty tonite! I would have taken a picture but decided she might really not like that when she's older. . .

First Time . . .

Callen didn't want to wear her pull-up to school today. She wanted to wear her big girl underwear. So, we went with the flow . . . packed extra undies and shorts and off she went. She did great! She didn't have an accident until almost 5:00 today! We were all very excited! Of course, she walks in the door tonite and then has an accident. Oh well, we're making progress! Let's hope it continues!
